I’m an independent Polish-Austrian film director, writer, producer, and photographer based in Berlin.

I studied cinema, art, and photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. My documentaries explore social issues through a focus on personal stories. They have been screened at numerous international film festivals, received multiple awards, and were shown in cinema and on international television. My most recent feature film script was nominated in Germany for Best Screenplay.

I regularly collaborate with public broadcasters such as ZDF, Arte, BR, 3sat, and ORF, and have received funding from major public institutions in Germany, Austria, and the EU. In addition, I work as an expert in European film funding and participate in international film forums. I am a fellow of the Heinrich Böll Foundation, the Robert Bosch Foundation, the Misereor Foundation, and the Literary Colloquium Berlin.

My passion lies in street and social photography. I am fascinated by people, encounters, cultures, and the unpredictability of everyday life. Alongside my film and photography work, I also engage with needs-based communication and personal development — exploring ways to express experiences, emotions & needs in words that foster clarity, connection, and inner growth. I rarely work just for money – I work out of curiosity, joy, and for values I believe in.
